ca-ns-1 Compute Issue Resolved

The subset of compute infrastructure effected by this issue has been repaired, and any instances that were experiencing issues should be restored as well.

If you are continuing to experience any issues, please contact support immediately to have them addressed.

ca-ns-1 Compute Issue

There is an issue with a small subset of instances running in the ca-ns-1 region. The team has identified the issue and are working on a fix.

Service should return to normal shortly, some instances may require a restart to complete the restore.

Maintenance complete, Volumes API available

The critical issue with our volumes infrastructure has been repaired, and the Volumes API has resumed normal operation.

Volumes maintenance on-going

Maintenance to our ca-ns-1 volumes infrastructure is on going. We are working to repair a critical bug and are expecting to begin bringing devices back online shortly.

Issues interacting with volumes (create/delete, attach/detach)

We are investigating issues with the Volumes API following the Aug. 23 scheduled maintenance. Users have reported being unable to create/delete or attach/detach volumes, though accessing volume metadata continues to function (e.g. listing volumes, showing individual volume metadata).

Instances not powering on

The affected compute node is now fully operational, and affected instances are now back online. Please contact support if you continue to experience issues accessing services.

Instances not powering on - UPDATE

Instances on the affected compute node are now coming back online. We will issue another update when service has been completely restored.

Instances not powering on

A compute node did not automatically resume following an unscheduled restart, leading to instances being powered down and unable to boot. We are working to resolve the problem.
